Jesus Is the Reason

In a season filled with lights, gifts, music, and celebrations, it is important to pause and remember the true reason for it all—Jesus Christ. The joy we experience, the would lose its meaning . Jesus was born in a humble manger, not in a palace or a place of comfort. Scripture tells us in Luke 2:7 that Mary “gave birth to her firstborn son… and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them.” The Savior of the world entered humanity in simplicity and humility, reminding us that God’s greatest gift came quietly, wrapped not in riches but in love. He came to identify with us, to walk among us, and to bring light into a dark world. The reason for His coming is clearly captured in one of the most well-known verses of Scripture: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). Jesus came because of love—deep, sacrificial, unconditional love. He came so that salvation would no ...

Hurray! Jesus Is Coming Back

This is a reminder that Jesus is truly coming again for all who believe in Him. It may seem long, but His promise remains sure: “I will come again and receive you unto myself” (John 14:3). His return is certain, and our hope in Him is secure. Jesus told us that He has gone to prepare a place for us (John 14:2–3). The things happening around us should not shift our gaze from Christ. The story of the ten virgins in Matthew 25:1–13 teaches the importance of preparation. Five were wise and ready, while the other five were not. Let us not be unprepared or spiritually asleep, but alert, expectant, and aligned with God’s will. In our homes, workp...

Gratitude Declarations

We are officially in the last month of the year—a season of reflection, thanksgiving, and quiet reminders of how far God has brought us. So much has taken place this year: victories, challenges, surprises, and moments we didn’t expect. Yet through it all, one thing has remained constant—God’s faithfulness. Think about it for a moment: how do you feel when someone forgets the good you’ve done for them? Even when we pretend it doesn’t matter, every heart desires to be appreciated. Gratitude is powerful—and Scripture encourages us again and again to remember the goodness of God. The Psalmist said, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.” (Psalm 103:2). Why? Because forgetting is easy, but thanksgiving is intentional. As we journey through this final month, may we be mindful of the God who never failed us—not once. We can’t repay Him for His love and mercy, but we can acknowledge Him with a grateful heart. Here are 10 gratitude affirmations to guide your reflection...
