Lost, But Found (Part 3)

 














It's the month of September! I'm grateful for how far we have come, and where God is taking us this year. I know we started the year with a lot of targets, but it's not too late to achieve them if you haven't. Sometimes, when it feels like things are not going as planned, maybe we should take a deep breath, look back, and count our blessings. God is faithful and His promises will never fail. 

Here is a continuation of the story we started two weeks ago. I have been blessed so far, and I hope you are too. The answer to last week's Bible Quiz is Nehemiah, and I trust you got it right. Giving Thanks in Everything

Sometimes life feels like it’s falling apart — plans fail, losses come unexpectedly, and hope seems distant. Think of a time when things weren’t going the way you wanted; with all the emotions rushing through your mind, gratitude was probably the last thing you wanted to express. Yet, this is exactly where true thanksgiving begins — not when life is perfect, but when we trust that God is still good, even when things don’t seem that way. When obedience seems hard

Have you ever thought about what you would do if you were in Abraham’s position? God asked him to sacrifice his only son, Isaac — the son he had waited for all his life. Imagine the thoughts that must have run through his mind as he walked toward that mountain, carrying wood and fire but no explanation. Yet, Abraham obeyed. He trusted that even in this impossible command, God had a purpose. His faith reminds us that true obedience sometimes means surrendering what we value most. Sometimes, God asks us to let go of something dear — a dream, a relationship, or even a habit — and our first instinct is to resist. We grumble, argue, or try to reason it out because obedience can feel costly. But obedience, even when hard, is proof of our trust in God.
