‘The Answers’ - a poem


Read: Matthew 11:28-30

Hello!

Today’s publication is a poem which reminds us that God is always near, no matter the circumstances around us.


Where do you find the answers?

What do you do when you’re confused?

Where do you go when you’re lost?

How do you see when it’s dark?

How do you thrive when you’re weary?


What do you do when you’re worried?

Where do you go when you’re afraid?

How do you smile when you’re sad?

How do you find peace in chaos?

How do you forgive when it’s hurting?

How do you heal you’ve been wounded?

How do you find answers when nothing makes sense?


Do you go about living with your fears?

Do you go about living in denial?

Do you go about living with a burden?

Do you go about living in unforgiveness?

Do you go about living in uncertainty?

Do you go about living insecure?

Do you go about living with pain?

Do you go about living with guilt?

Do you go about living in regrets?

Do you go about living in ignorance?

Do you forget to pray?


When you can bring it all to the Father

No burdens too heavy 

No worries too many 

No past too scary 


His arms are wide open to take them all from you 

He was all the answers you never found 

He knows all the things that make you cry

He knows all you need to get back on your feet

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”


Keep in Mind 

“Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you.” - Psalm 55:22a

Prayer

Dear God, I come to You just as I am. Please take my burdens away and help me to find peace within me.

Giving Thanks in Everything

Sometimes life feels like it’s falling apart — plans fail, losses come unexpectedly, and hope seems distant. Think of a time when things weren’t going the way you wanted; with all the emotions rushing through your mind, gratitude was probably the last thing you wanted to express. Yet, this is exactly where true thanksgiving begins — not when life is perfect, but when we trust that God is still good, even when things don’t seem that way. When obedience seems hard

Have you ever thought about what you would do if you were in Abraham’s position? God asked him to sacrifice his only son, Isaac — the son he had waited for all his life. Imagine the thoughts that must have run through his mind as he walked toward that mountain, carrying wood and fire but no explanation. Yet, Abraham obeyed. He trusted that even in this impossible command, God had a purpose. His faith reminds us that true obedience sometimes means surrendering what we value most. Sometimes, God asks us to let go of something dear — a dream, a relationship, or even a habit — and our first instinct is to resist. We grumble, argue, or try to reason it out because obedience can feel costly. But obedience, even when hard, is proof of our trust in God.
