The Virtuous Mother


Read: Proverbs 31

Hello Friend!

Today’s post is dedicated to women, and isn’t it beautiful to see that there are quite a good number of people who are proud of their mothers. As a woman, it is needful to always reflect and ask yourself, “What kind of a mother am I?” or “What kind of a mother do I want to be”. Proverbs 31 shares some wonderful qualities of a woman who can be referred to as a virtuous woman; and in the same scripture, we can also see some excellent qualities of a mother. Are you a virtuous mother? Will you be a virtuous mother that your children and husband will be proud of? These are some questions to reflect on.














Prayer 

Dear God, please guide me, lead me, and help me to become a better person with each passing day.

Giving Thanks in Everything

Sometimes life feels like it’s falling apart — plans fail, losses come unexpectedly, and hope seems distant. Think of a time when things weren’t going the way you wanted; with all the emotions rushing through your mind, gratitude was probably the last thing you wanted to express. When obedience seems hard

Have you ever thought about what you would do if you were in Abraham’s position? God asked him to sacrifice his only son, Isaac — the son he had waited for all his life. Imagine the thoughts that must have run through his mind as he walked toward that mountain, carrying wood and fire but no explanation. Yet, Abraham obeyed. He trusted that even in this impossible command, God had a purpose. His faith reminds us that true obedience sometimes means surrendering what we value most. Sometimes, God asks us to let go of something dear — a dream, a relationship, or even a habit — and our first instinct is to resist.
