Read: Hebrews 11
Hello Friend!
What is the most impossible thing you think can never happen? Or what is something you pray for, but deep inside, you think it’s very unlikely to happen? Have you ever wondered why it’s easier to doubt than to believe?
Life often presents really big challenges to us and sometimes, we give in because our minds have been limited to believing some things can not happen. We often get carried away with disbelief, forgetting that without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).
Why is it that it is much easier to doubt than to believe? Have you also wondered why it is easier to believe that bad things will happen, rather than accept that good things will happen? The Bible also makes us understand that as a man thinketh in his heart so, is he. Directly or indirectly, we can say that we are a product of the level of faith we have and the things we believe and accept in our lives.
Today, let’s decide to step out of our comfort zone where we easily give in and accept that, “what will be will be”. Let’s step out of that level of faithlessness that limits our capacity, let’s decide to go bigger on faith, let’s leave the mustard seed level of faith and aim for the level of faith where we trust God completely lie Abraham, like Noah, like Enoch, and the rest of them.
Hebrews 11 shares inspiring instances of how men and women of faith prevailed and lived in dominion because they chose to step out of the comfort zone called disbelief. Apostle Paul wrote in Hebrews 11:33-34, “By faith, these people overthrew kingdoms, ruled with justice, and received what God had promised them. They shut the mouths of lions, quenched the flames of fire, and escaped death by the edge of the sword. Their weakness was turned to strength. They became strong in battle and put whole armies to flight.”
The things we can do by faith are much more than we can imagine. But are we even ready? Are you ready to step up?
