Praising God Through It All

Hello Friend! I trust you are doing well. Welcome back to Narrow and Beautiful, it's always good to have you here. By God's grace, April shall be a beautiful month you will always love to remember.

Today, we are sharing a beautiful reminder about gratitude. Have you ever paused to think about all the little and big things God has done for you? Or maybe you've gone through a season where His love and mercy carried you through? This short reflection is a simple way to say, “Thank You, Lord,” for everything.

I came to God with a thankful heart,
Because He made me and knows me completely.
He is my Shepherd, and I belong to Him.
Every day, He shows me His love.

I thank Him for all He has done in my life.
He forgives my sins and heals my sickness.
He saves me from trouble and surrounds me with kindness.
He fills my life with good things.

Even when I feel weak, He gives me new strength.
He understands me and never gives up on me.
His love is greater than I can explain.
He is patient, kind, and full of mercy.

So I praise Him with music and with my voice.
I lift my hands and thank Him with my whole heart.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
In every season, I will bless His name.

He is faithful, and His love never ends.
I know I can always trust Him.
Thank You, Lord, for being so good to me.
You are truly worthy of all my praise.

Giving Thanks in Everything

Sometimes life feels like it’s falling apart — plans fail, losses come unexpectedly, and hope seems distant. Think of a time when things weren’t going the way you wanted; with all the emotions rushing through your mind, gratitude was probably the last thing you wanted to express. Yet, this is exactly where true thanksgiving begins — not when life is perfect, but when we trust that God is still good, even when things don’t seem that way. God’s Word encourages us to give thanks in all circumstances because He cares deeply for us, and His thoughts toward us are always good (Jeremiah 29:11). When obedience seems hard

Have you ever thought about what you would do if you were in Abraham’s position? God asked him to sacrifice his only son, Isaac — the son he had waited for all his life. Imagine the thoughts that must have run through his mind as he walked toward that mountain, carrying wood and fire but no explanation. Yet, Abraham obeyed. He trusted that even in this impossible command, God had a purpose. His faith reminds us that true obedience sometimes means surrendering what we value most. Sometimes, God asks us to let go of something dear — a dream, a relationship, or even a habit — and our first instinct is to resist. We grumble, argue, or try to reason it out because obedience can feel costly. But obedience, even when hard, is proof of our trust in God.
