Same God



He is the same God — faithful through every generation.
The One who led Abraham into promise,
Who guided Moses through the parted sea,
Still leads and guides us today.

Life changes. People change.
But His faithfulness never fades —
His Word stands firm
From age to age.

His love never fails.
It does not depend on our perfection or deeds;
It stays steady through highs and lows,
Pursuing us like the shepherd seeking the one lost sheep.

His promises are sure.
Every word He speaks carries power to perform.
He fulfilled His word to Abraham, Joseph, and David —
He will fulfill His word to you too.

He never forgets.
Even in the silence, He is working.
He remembers every tear and prayer,
Just as He remembered Hannah in her time of need.

He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
The God who healed, calmed, and raised
Still performs wonders today.
His mercy does not run out; His power does not expire.

He’s everlasting.
Before time began and after it ends, He remains.
Kingdoms rise and fall, but He endures —
Our peace in His constancy, our hope in His eternity.

When obedience seems hard

Have you ever thought about what you would do if you were in Abraham’s position? God asked him to sacrifice his only son, Isaac — the son he had waited for all his life. Imagine the thoughts that must have run through his mind as he walked toward that mountain, carrying wood and fire but no explanation. Yet, Abraham obeyed. He trusted that even in this impossible command, God had a purpose. His faith reminds us that true obedience sometimes means surrendering what we value most. Sometimes, God asks us to let go of something dear — a dream, a relationship, or even a habit — and our first instinct is to resist. We grumble, argue, or try to reason it out because obedience can feel costly. But obedience, even when hard, is proof of our trust in God.
