He Will Never Fail


God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?”

Numbers 23:19 NLT

Have you ever found yourself waiting on God for something He promised you, only for circumstances to seem as though the exact opposite was happening? Maybe you prayed, believed, and trusted, yet the situation became more difficult. Perhaps you began to wonder if God had forgotten you or if His promises would ever come to pass.

One thing we must always remember is that God’s goodness is everlasting. His faithfulness is not determined by our circumstances, and His promises do not expire because of delays. The Bible tells us that God is not a man that He should lie. If He has spoken concerning your life, He is able to bring it to pass. What He says, He will do. What He promises, He will fulfill.

Throughout Scripture, we see countless examples of God’s faithfulness. Abraham waited many years for the promised son, yet God fulfilled His word (Genesis 21:1–2). Joseph endured betrayal, slavery, and imprisonment before God’s plan for his life came to pass, but God never failed him (Genesis 50:20). The children of Israel stood before the Red Sea with nowhere to turn, yet God made a way where there seemed to be none (Exodus 14:21–22).

Sometimes we become discouraged because we focus more on the mountain before us than on the God who created the mountain. Challenges may arise. Doors may seem closed. The future may appear uncertain. But none of these things can stop God’s plan for your life. Isaiah 55:11 reminds us that God’s word never returns to Him void; it accomplishes everything He sends it to do.

As we journey through this new month, be assured that God will see you through. Whatever lies ahead is not a surprise to Him. He already knows the beginning and the end. He has gone before you, making preparations you cannot yet see. The Lord Himself promises in Deuteronomy 31:8, “Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.”

Perhaps there are mountains standing before you today—financial challenges, family concerns, health issues, unanswered prayers, disappointments, or uncertainties about the future. Remember that the God you serve specializes in doing the impossible. Jesus said in Matthew 19:26, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”

Do not allow fear to take the place of faith. Do not let temporary situations convince you that God has abandoned you. His timing is perfect, His plans are good, and His love for you remains constant. Even when you cannot see His hand, trust His heart.

Let this be your reminder today: God will never fail you. He is able to find you in the deepest valley, lift you from every trouble, and guide you safely through every difficulty. Hold on to His promises, keep trusting Him, and remain steadfast in faith. The same God who has brought you this far will not leave you now.

No matter what you are facing today, remember that God is faithful. His promises are sure, His timing is perfect, and His goodness never ends. Trust Him with your journey, because the God who promised is the God who will fulfill.
