Peace over Anxiety (3)

Read: Jeremiah 17:7-8 Hello! I trust you have been well, thank you for checking in again!  In the previous series of this topic, we’ve been able to see practical ways from the scripture to deal with anxiety. There is so much peace that comes with bringing our worries to God, having faith that He can help us scale through, and being grateful for what he has done and will do. Today, we will be looking at a prayer guide to help us get over anxiety and embrace the peace that God has given to us freely. Let’s dive! Here are some thoughtful prayer points with Psalms to help as a guide when dealing with anxiety: Express your gratitude to God  Dear God, I thank You for always being there for me. Thank You for your lovingkindness and tender mercies towards me. Thank You for always being a present help when I am in need. Thank You for never leaving or forsaking me. I am grateful for all that You do and all that You are to me. Read: Psalm 34 Ask God for mercy Dear God, I come before You ...

Peace over Anxiety (2)

Read: Psalm 23 You might have probably found yourself in a situation where you were so anxious about the outcome of something, that you spent the whole time overthinking and being anxious. Someone once said that life is a game, and in this game, there are a lot of pitfalls and to win, you need to figure out how to solve your problems. Here is a story of Maria, who made a very terrible mistake at work, that almost pushed her to resign. She mistakenly sent the wrong email which could have compromised a client’s privacy. That moment when she made the mistake, she almost fainted in her seat, knowing the ...

Today, I will be sharing some scriptures that strengthen us in times of anxiety: 2 Timothy 1:7 “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Luke 12:22 “Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear.” Philippians 4:6 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Ps...
