What manner of love!

Read: John 20:1-29 Hello Friend! What a beautiful celebration of the Lord’s resurrection! As we celebrate Easter this year, let’s remember that we are celebrating because God loved us and gave us the gift of Jesus, who died on the cross to bring us redemption, grace, and victory! The tomb is empty, Jesus is risen, rejoice oh child of God! Today’s publication is a poem that tells a story about the debt that Jesus paid for you and I, despite our unworthiness. Let this poem remind you about the depth of God’s love for you and give you many reasons to tell people about the good news of redemption. He walked amidst the angry crowd Their piercing voices slashing more than the whips They humiliated their king and crowned Him with thorns The cross hung on his bare shoulders  Our sins, filthy and bloody Golgotha, the place of skull There He was crucified There it was finished  He had redeemed man The price for sin was paid He walked amidst the angry crowd Their piercing voices s...

Jesus at the center (prayer edition)

Read: Matthew 21:1-11 Hello Friend! While a lot of people celebrated Palm Sunday in different ways today, it is imperative to know that it has a deeper meaning. As seen in our Bible text, the people were filled with joy when Jesus rode into the city and they raised their voices to worship Him. Do you have a place for Jesus in your life? Is Jesus the center of your life? Do you acknowledge him as your king and saviour?  In today’s prayer edition, our prayers will be based on 3 scriptures. Pray from the depth of your heart, acknowledge Jesus as the center of your life, and make room for Him to always abide in you.

Welcome to the family!

Read: Ephesians 2:19 Hello Friend! Today’s publication is a poem that shows the reality of being a part of God’s family. It is a reassurance for believers that you are indeed in the right place.  Also, for everyone contemplating on whether to be a part of this family or not, this poem is a welcome call to be a part of God’s family where there is no condemnation. God loves you and He wants the best for you!  Welcome to the family  A place where love knows no bounds A place where you are accepted just as you are  The love of God so constant and true  A warm embrace in the arms of the Father  Welcome to the family  A place where your sins are forgiven  A place where there is no condemnation  God lavishes His mercy upon everyone  His light guiding us in the path of righteousness  Welcome to the family  A place of joy and peace  For your burdens are taken away  He daily supplies every need  His faithfulness is unfaili...

The Virtuous Mother

Read: Proverbs 31 Hello Friend! Today’s post is dedicated to women, and isn’t it beautiful to see that there are quite a good number of people who are proud of their mothers. As a woman, it is needful to always reflect and ask yourself, “What kind of a mother am I?” or “What kind of a mother do I want to be”. Proverbs 31 shares some wonderful qualities of a woman who can be referred to as a virtuous woman; and in the same scripture, we can also see some excellent qualities of a mother. Are you a virtuous mother? Will you be a virtuous mother that your children and husband will be proud of? These are some questions to reflect on. Prayer  Dear God, please guide me, lead me, and help me to become a better person with each passing day. Keep in Mind  " Who is a godly mother? A godly mother is one who loves the Lord, her God with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength; and then passionately, consistently, and unrelentingly teaches her child to do the same - Elizabeth George.

Intentional Thanksgiving

Hello Friend! Welcome to March! May this month bring abundant joy and peace into our lives, and may our days be filled with testimonies. Today’s publication shares 7 Bible verses from the book of Psalms. Pick each verse every day, meditate on it, and make thanksgiving more intentional than ever. Keep in Mind  "A thankful heart is one of the primary identifying characteristics of a believer. It stands in stark contrast to pride, selfishness, and worry. And it helps fortify the believer's trust in the Lord and reliance of His provision, even in the toughest times. No matter how choppy the seas become, a believer's heart is buoyed by constant praise and gratefulness to the Lord." – John MacArthur
