Perfect Peace

“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!” Isaiah 26 : 3 NLT There are times in life when anxiety grips us so tightly that it feels like everything depends on the outcome of a single moment. You may have poured so much effort into something that the thought of it failing drives you restless. Perhaps you’ve been in those shoes—worry sick, burdened, and thinking, “I can’t put all these efforts in vain.” The truth is, life naturally comes with many things that can trigger anxiety. But no matter how much you worry, it never changes the situation. What truly makes a difference is finding peace in God’s presence. Perfect peace comes when you release control and place your life in His hands, because His hands are far bigger and stronger to carry your burdens. Scripture reminds us: “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you” (1 Peter 5:7 NLT). When we worry too much, we unintentionally give credit to the enemy—it’...

Unconditional Service

“We serve God whether people honor us or despise us, whether they slander us or praise us. We are honest, but they call us impostors.” — 2 Corinthians 6:8 (NLT) Have you ever been in a situation where you had to stay silent about the truth because you were afraid of what others might say? Or maybe you’ve been falsely accused, made to look like the bad person, while someone else took the credit. Those moments can be painful and discouraging. Paul knew exactly what this felt like. In 2 Corinthians 6:8 (NLT), he spoke about serving God regardless of whether people honored him or despised him, whether they slandered him or praised him. His service was not dependent on human validation but on his love and devotion to God. That is what unconditional service looks like—serving not for recognition, applause, or approval, but because God is worthy. This brings us to an important question: What motivates your service to God? Is it to impress people? Is it because everyone else is doing it? Or is...

The Unfailing Love of God

Have you ever been deeply disappointed by someone you trusted completely? Maybe it was a friend, a family member, or even a mentor—someone you thought would always be there for you, yet they let you down. It’s a painful reminder that human love, no matter how strong, can falter. As humans, we are not always lovable. We make mistakes, fall short, and sometimes fail others. But here’s the beautiful truth—God’s love is different. His love doesn’t shift with moods or circumstances; it remains constant and unwavering. In Psalm 21:7 (NLT), David declared:  “For the king trusts in the Lord. The unfailing love of the Most High will keep him from stumbling.” David knew firsthand that God’s love was his anchor. It was God’s unfailing love that kept him from stumbling, even in seasons of battle, betrayal, and fear. We see this same assurance in Lamentations 3:22–23 (NLT) – “The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh ...

Staying on God’s path

Have you ever set out for a destination and somehow ended up somewhere completely different? Maybe you took a wrong turn, got distracted, or relied on wrong directions. In life, we can start out with the right intentions but, along the way, distractions, fears, or trials can pull us off course. Psalm 17:5 says, “My steps have stayed on your path; I have not wavered from following you.” This verse is both a declaration and a prayer—one we all need in our walk with God. Staying on God’s path means more than just knowing the right way; it means trusting Him enough to commit your life to His direction. Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.” God’s path is often different from what we imagine, but it is always the best path because it is rooted in His wisdom and love. It calls for surrender—handing over our plans, fears, and uncertainties to Him and bel...
